In George Orwell’s 1984, truth is not an objective reality. It is whatever the Party says it is. The Ministry of Truth rewrites history, fabricates enemies, and turns citizens into unthinking loyalists, willing to accept any contradiction to serve the Party’s narrative. The eerie parallels between Orwell’s dystopia and Donald Trump’s administration are too glaring to ignore, especially with figures like Karoline Leavitt spearheading his modern-day propaganda machine.
The MAGA Ministry of Truth
Orwell described a world where reality could be altered with the stroke of a pen, where yesterday’s truth becomes today’s lie, and the masses never question it. Enter Trump’s Big Lie—the baseless claim that the 2020 election was stolen. Despite being debunked countless times, this fiction has been ingrained in the collective consciousness of his base, not because it is true, but because it is repeated often enough.
Karoline Leavitt, now serving as the spokesperson for Trump’s administration, functions as the mouthpiece of this alternate reality. Take for example her recent press conference (if that is what it can be called), where she spins the clearly unconstitutional and illegal funding freeze as nothing other than Trump being fiscally responsible.
Like Orwell’s 1984 propaganda operatives, her role is not to report facts but to manipulate perceptions. She does not engage in truth—she reframes narratives, discredits truth-tellers, and paints Trump as the hero of the people while branding his political opponents as antidemocratic.
The Perpetual Enemy: The Goldstein Effect
In 1984, Emmanuel Goldstein is the Party’s eternal enemy—a shadowy figure blamed for every problem, used to rally hatred and obedience. Trump’s version of Goldstein? The “deep state,” the “radical left,” “wokeness”, “DEI”, and an ever-growing list of adversaries: journalists, immigrants, prosecutors, judges, and even former allies who refuse to toe the line.
Just as Orwell’s Party conducted the Two Minutes Hate, MAGA rallies serve as real-world indoctrination sessions, whipping up crowds into frenzies of anger and fear, directing their hostility at those deemed enemies of the state. Leavitt’s job, like every Trump spokesperson before her, is to keep these fires of resentment burning, ensuring that the base remains in a state of perpetual outrage.
Newspeak and the War on Language
Orwell warned that control over language meant control over thought. Trump’s team understands this deeply. Terms like “fake news,” “witch hunt,” and “election interference” are deployed not to clarify but to confuse. By using language that distorts reality, they create a world where truth becomes unknowable, and the only reliable source is the leader himself.
Leavitt’s role in this linguistic warfare is critical. She delivers the same talking points in interview after interview, knowing that repetition is the key to belief. Orwell’s Party enforced the idea that “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength.” The MAGA machine similarly tells its followers that indictments prove Trump’s innocence, that suppressing votes protects democracy, and that questioning authority is the real threat to freedom.
Thoughtcrime and the Persecution of Dissenters
In 1984, independent thought—thoughtcrime—is the greatest sin. We are now witnessing a similar purge of dissent within Trump’s ranks. The parallels in the MAGA verse are those that are demonized as being “woke”. You can here in the language of the shameful executive order freezing federal funds and grants in which agencies were instructed to examine which programs conflict with Trump’s executive orders to halt government spending that falls under “financial assistance for foreign aid, nongovernmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology, and the green new deal”.
Leavitt’s job is to ensure that the thoughtcrime of acknowledging Trump’s wrongdoing is met with swift and severe consequences—mockery, ostracization, and even physical threats from Trump’s most devoted followers. She must really hate herself. You can hear it in her voice.
The Future Orwell Warned Us About
If 1984 was meant to be a warning, the Trump movement is treating it as a blueprint. Karoline Leavitt, like many before her, is a cog in the machine of disinformation, reinforcing a world where the only truth is what serves the leader’s agenda.
Orwell’s dystopia was built on fear, manipulation, and the erasure of reality. Today, we are witnessing this play out in real time. The question is no longer whether the Trump movement is Orwellian—it is whether enough people will recognize it before it is too late.
Transcending Doublethink
The antidote to Orwellian control is awareness, clarity, and empowerment. The grip of deception can only hold when people remain in fear and submission. This is where group SFT tapping events come into play. By participating in these sessions, you can clear the energetic imprints of manipulation, break free from the cycle of propaganda, and reconnect with their own discernment.
SFT tapping dissolves the subconscious programming that keeps people locked in disempowerment. It helps dismantle the fear-based narratives that cloud judgment and distort reality. Each session is a step toward reclaiming sovereignty, realigning with truth, and fostering a collective shift toward universal empowerment.
Now is the time to act. Join us in tapping into higher consciousness and breaking the chains of control.
